Senior DevOps Engineer

You will:

Be a cornerstone of our development team - you will own our cloud infrastructure and deployment process, helping to ensure new code is deployed regularly and safely. Act as a mentor to more junior members of the team. Participate and drive technical design discussions for new and existing products in our stable.

Core Responsibilities:

• Building robust, always available deployments for our products
• Develop tools to automate routine processes
• Manage the release pipeline from staging to production
• Ensure releases are timely and smooth
• Implement processes to ensure data security and redundancy across our product suite
• Work with core stakeholders to deliver necessary technology assets such as cloud infrastructure and blockchain nodes for new and existing projects
• Provide mentorship and learning opportunities to more junior team members

Core Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in software engineering and operations
• 3+ years experience with cloud computing environments(Google Cloud Platform preferred)
• 2+ years experience working with Docker, Kubernetes and related tooling
• 2+ years experience in backend software engineering
• Ability to develop monitoring and reporting systems to ensure systems are operating correctly
• Strong SQL skills(PostgreSQL preferred)
• Solid understanding of information security best practices
• Basic understanding of or desire to learn about blockchain(particularly Ethereum)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Remote experience

Extra Credit:

• Experience developing blockchain applications or operating node infrastructure
• Experience with our core stack (NodeJS/TypeScript/React)
• Experience in payment processing/PCI-DSS
